When we think about adoption, 1 John 4:19 quickly comes to mind: "We love because He first loved us." We are so thankful for God's great love on our lives, bringing us into His family and we want to love others with that same love. Adoption doesn't start with us and ultimately this adoption isn't about us. God's heart for people is way bigger than ours ever will be! We continue to be blown away by the love and support given to us during our first adoption. It was so amazing to watch God use so many people to help us bring our little guy home! We're humbly asking you to come alongside us again. The fees for the social workers, agencies, and attorneys who pour out their hearts to serve women in crisis pregnancies making an adoption plan add up quickly. Our total fees could be up to $30K. And even though we have saved for several years, continue to save, and are applying for grants, we know we need more help. The most important thing you can do to help our adoption is to pray; please pray for the expectant mama (whoever she is) who is in a difficult situation and wrestling with what to do. Pray that she has the courage to choose life, that she is shown compassion and care as she navigates whether adoption is the right path for her, that she finds healing and strength in the Lord. Pray that we love her well. Pray for the baby who will be entering our family. And pray for us as we get ready to become a family of 7!
