As many of you know we have been in this process for a while now. For those of you who are just getting to know us here is some information about us!
We have been married for over 5 years. We've tried to get pregnant since getting married but have been unable to do so. We live in North Texas with our sweet dog, Bella.
We began the adoption process in 2016 and have patiently been waiting on God's timing. We know that He is in control of all things and that He knows the sweet baby he has for our family. We firmly believe that we are adopted in Christ and this is really the motivation behind us and our pursuit of adopting a baby.
We recently began working with an adoption consultant, who guides us through this process. We are hopeful that we will be matched within the next year.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
