We have BIG news!
We are adopting! Adoption begins with a step of faith. We have been praying for years about adoption and working through fears. We have heard the Lords Call and are walking in Faith and putting our Yes on the table. When God Calls, Abide. The adoption journey is full of both hurdles and hope. In adoption there is a lot of praying, trusting, and waiting. We would love to have you join us in prayer.
We are doing a domestic infant adoption and we are beyond excited. The children can't wait to love and help with the new baby. We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total $40,000 to $50,000. We know that when the Lord calls us to something then He provides a way. The finances have been the scariest part about this whole journey so far. However, we are trusting the Lord for $40,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. With Covid, it has made it difficult for us to have in person fundraisers, bake sales, and events. So for now, this our plan to start fundraising. We will be having a T-shirt fundraiser coming out soon so stay posted if you are interested in a cute new t-shirt.
