Hi! We&'re Dan and Hannah - we&'ve been married for 11 years and we&'re adopting two beautiful boys from China, HuangShen and ChungYi. Our plans to build a family have been long in the making and full of surprises, but we&'re so glad our path has finally led to these two adorable babies! We feel serving others (especially widows) in the spirit of James 1:27 is the best way to raise awareness about Orphans&' and Widows&' needs and to build support for our adoptions. Our Babies: HuangShen is a 23 month old with real spirit who is post-op for a rare and severe Congenital Heart Disorder. After open heart surgery and months in the Chinese ICU, he is now developing at lightning pace - we expect him to be a little firecracker from his videos! We plan to call him Shen. ChungYi is a 27 month old who is post-op for a lumbosacral tumor. His Orphanage A&'yis ("Aunts") say he is the most helpful child in his age group. They regularly give him assignments ("Put on all the 1 year olds&' socks!"), and he will do it! We plan to call him Chung. Our amazing son Ryu is very excited to have brothers and often talks about how they will play cars and trains together. We previously adopted Ryu, who is now 3 years old.
