We have waited a very long time to share our love with a child. We have dreamed about starting our family and we are so excited to see how God works in bringing our first child into our lives!
We have always wanted a family. Even while we were dating, we talked about how we would like to have children once we got married. Little did we know that while God also wanted to bless us with children, it would be in His timing and His way. We struggled with infertility for 2 1/2 years. We went through doctor appointments, tests, and trials. While adoption has always been on our minds, it took those years of trials and heartache for God to lead us to a place of complete peace and confidence in knowing that adopting a child is exactly how He wanted to start our family. We are so thankful for God's plans in our lives and know that adopting a child is a much greater blessing than we ever could have planned on our own!
Through the waiting, God has grown our love for each other and for our child, and we are more ready now than ever before to become parents. We are so excited to meet the child we have been praying for, for so long!
