We are adopting!!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. Joe and I knew before we got married that we would grow our family through adoption, we just didn’t know when! If you know our story of the last year (if you don’t, feel free to ask, we’d love to share with you and tell you all about how we’ve seen God working), you know that we have walked through a lot of suffering and heartache but our God is so big and he always redeems. At the beginning of this year we felt God telling us NOW is the time. We believe now is the time He has called us to walk in faith and pursue growing our family through adoption! We are so excited to see his story unfold.
As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why we have set a tentative goal to raise $50,000! In the beginning of our marriage, the biggest thing that scared us about pursuing adoption was the cost! That’s a big number, but we firmly believe we serve an even bigger God.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up.
