People ask-why China? You see, we don&'t have an answer for that other than:It is where our son was born. We believe that God knew who our family would be long before he ever knit John and I in our mother&'s wombs. He knew he would call us to grow our family in this way. He knew that He would bring us to a point where we were so far out of our comfort zone that we would HAVE to trust Him to see us through. That is exactly what we are doing! We are trusting Him to plan our family and provide for us. He has selected our children and the women that gave birth to them by hand. He has given us a heart for birthmothers, orphans, and a passion for adoption. He has given us a drive to search for and find our children. Even across the World! Our sweet two year old Ty will be home soon! We can&'t wait to wrap our arms around him and have him feel the love that we have for him! We ask that you partner with us in this adoption journey. I will warn you up front, it is a journey of tears, trust, faith, and fear. But we have a Heavenly Father who carries these burdens for us. So in the thick of it, remember that. Please, remind us of that! Please pray that Ty can dream about his new family and that he will have a peace that passes all understanding about the life changing event that is about to take him from everything he has ever known. We know coming to America to join our family is going to be a very positive change for him, but he won&'t know that or feel that for a while.
