We are adopting a child!
Over the last few years, we have felt a call to continue to grow our family. We are beyond excited to be adopting and are preparing to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. We plan to pursue an open adoption, which means we will support and encourage the child's birth mother through her life while we raise her precious child. We will send pictures to the birth mother, letters, encourage communication and updates and hope for yearly visits at our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
