We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
Nathan and I desired to have children very early on in our marriage, but the God had different plans. Through various medical reasons having biological children is difficult, but our hearts have already grown to love the story that God is writing for us. We are encouraged daily by the support around us and desire to honor the Lord by raising children through adoption as we are confident this is His will for us! He has been so good to us!
The Lord has truly done amazing things! We are have completed the paperwork and our home study is approved and each penny to this point has been provided without campaigns, grants or fundraisers. We are now currently in the "active waiting" stage and we are excited to have you come along side us as we build a community and support system through this exciting and challenging stage.
