We have BIG news!
We are adopting FIVE children! Not one. Not two. FIVE siblings!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
Of course there are various legal costs and fees, but there are many other things we need to ensure the safety and prosperity of our children once they come home! We have been making preparations over the last year and a half while we went through the licensing process, but we did not prepare for five! We will need to change cars to accommodate at least 7 seats, get four more beds, supplies for five kids, and be ready to supplement the minimal clothing/items they will have when they come home.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our children as they grow up.
