are adopting a child from Korea (Republic of)

We began our adoption journey in 2012 when we learned that we would not be able to have biological children. Though this was extremely painful news for us, we realized through this experience that our greatest desire is to be parents and to give a child a loving and safe home. We felt compelled to start learning about adoption, and soon our hearts were moved to adopt a little boy from South Korea. Since then, we have been preparing in every way that we can to be adoptive parents. We are reading all about international adoption, South Korea, and parenting. We have taken a Korean language and culture class and we currently attend an adoption support group. The cost of adoption is daunting, and though we have already taken care of many of the costs, we still have a long way to go. Friends and family have so generously asked how they can help, and we are grateful to be a part of AdoptTogether, which makes your gift tax-deductible. Though we haven&'t met our little guy yet, we are already full of expectant joy and hope at the gift of being his parents. We are so grateful for your support and for taking the time to read a little bit about our story!
