We have BIG news!
We are adopting two little girls!
We have been matched as of 9/11 with two girls! One is 12 months old and was born in Honduras, and her sister is due in October to be delivered here Houston. We have already started to finance some of the fees out of what savings we do have and with personal donations. We have been able to gather $12,000, but the need is just over $53,000 by OCTOBER 5TH so the timeline for the need is immediate. This is why we have set a goal of $42,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents, but we know our GOD IS ABLE!
We started this journey to adopt in May 2018, but have been trying for a family since July 2007. We decided to stop any further fertility treatments after our last failed attempt and a miscarriage in the fall on 2017. All moneys will be used to finance the adoption fees, home visits, birth parents support, and other adoption related needs. We have tried to start a family for most of our married life (almost 13 years) and believe the LORD will turn these "ashes into beauty" and is not done with our story. Words cannot express what it would mean for us to be able to be parents after all this time.
