Hi! We're the Zeller family: Steve, Cyndi and Cannon. Welcome to our adoption journey!
We first knew we were called to adopt on a cold day in November 2015 while driving to work. Over the radio came a news report about adoption, and just like that, we began the wonderful journey that brought our son, Cannon, into our lives. He is amazing, smart, funny, loving, and has changed our lives in so many ways!
While in China to bring Cannon home, we realized the great need for adoptive parents. There are so many waiting children in need of forever homes. A waiting child, like Cannon, is a child not adopted as an infant due to a medical condition. It became clear we were being called to adopt again. We have so much love to give, and Cannon wants to be a big brother! We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total in excess of $35,000. Because we depleted our savings on the first adoption, we are starting from scratch, with only our faith to lead us. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the overwhelming financial burden.
