We are ADOPTING!!!
We have always wanted to have a big family, but medically it just wasn’t possible. After the intense struggles for the two children we have, doctors determined that further pregnancies could be very bad for Kati’s health.
So now we are opening our hearts and our home to adopt another child into our family.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more.
This is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

Hi guys. Quick update! We are patiently waiting to adopt still. We got a call about two months ago about a potential option but we never heard more about it. We have assumed they have figured it out or went in a different direction. We are renewing our home study and praying we will get the call soon.
We are so excited to be adopting and that you are here for the journey too!
This update is to tell you all where we are on this journey. Nate and I have been working hard on getting paperwork done and the home study done. A couple of months ago we got approved!!! This was such a great day!
We are now waiting to be matched with a birth mom. While we are waiting we are working on our profile for our adoption agency.
A few weeks ago we did have to write up a quick letter and gather some pictures because we had some interest in us that the agency did need something fast and simple.
