As you all know we brought our sweet Aurie home with us a few weeks ago!! It was SO fast!! So fast in fact that we had no time to prepare for anything! That includes adoption fees. Because her adoption is considered a private adoption through a private agency, there are fees included. People have been so generous and God has been so good to provide everything we need thus far. However, we still have some costs that we have to pay for. We have monthly home visits until finalization. The cost for this is $350 a month. We have birthmother expenses that we have to cover until finalization also. That’s around $150 a month. Then to finalize we need lawyer fees. That will be around $1,500. If anyone feels led to help we would be eternally grateful!!! Adoption is the gospel.
One thing that we will have to pay for very soon is lawyer fees. Lawyer fees for the birthmother’s relinquishment hearing and lawyer fees for the finalization. There are a lot of things stacking up! Any donation would be so appreciated.
The agency that we're working with requires monthly home visits until Aurie's adoption is finalized. It could still be several months until that happens. The monthly home visits are expensive and the money is stacking up! It's a little overwhelming because we had no time to prepare.
