Hello! We are the Jamisons and we are in the process of domestic adoption. We have always felt called to adopt, and are excited that this process has finally begun! We have been doing everything we can to make extra money for the adoption, but it is an incredibly expensive process and we are grateful for a way to allow friends and family to help in a tax-deductible way! ****UPDATE 2/14/16 : We have been chosen by an expectant mother! Total costs of the adoption will be about $30,000 (including agency fees, legal fees, birthmother expenses, and travel). We have already made/saved $12,000. The expectant mother is due around the first week of May, so we have until then to raise the entirety of the money. The first half has to be paid at the time of match. We have applied for several grants and are still in the process of hearing back. It is an understatement to say that we could do any of this on our own. We haven&'t, we can&'t, and we won&'t ever be able to parent North or any of his siblings without the love, support, wisdom, and guidance of each one of you. We beg that you would continue to send all of these things our way, especially as our family expands and we undergo the transition of becoming a family of four.
