is adopting a child from United States of America

We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, a friend started a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe. Thank you to all who have already donated there. It is still live and available. Since that was created, another friend told us about this platform. AdoptTogether give donors the opportunity to use their donation as a tax deduction and also can take matching gifts from employers. It does take 5% of the donation (GoFundMe is less) but does offer those options. We are accepting donations on both sites and want our friends and family to have the options that help them most.

Kenzo and I are so humbled by the outpouring of love and support for our process of adoption. It was never in “our plan.” While I’ve always admired adopting families, it wasn’t something I really ever thought about for our family. But as many of you know - we’ve longed to add a third child to our mix and after losing three daughters in second trimester miscarriages, giving a try to foster care and exploring international adoption — we find ourselves at the threshold of private infant adoption and are extremely excited about it.

Every step of our journey to this point, even the hardest parts, we’ve sensed the nearness of God. He has given us healing and peace and produced in us a deep trust in Him for the future of our family and our story. We would still appreciate your prayers as we step out in faith in this journey.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
