Tammy Lauterbach

is adopting a child from United States of America

Welcome to our adoption fundraising website. We are Eric and Tammy Lauterbach, and we are grateful you are reading our story. The road to building our family has been long and trying. We have experienced great loss through multiple miscarriages, and great joy when our son, Jack, was born. Throughout our journey, there was an unanticipated change that occurred within us. We began to see that our vision of family was shaped by our culture, history, and personal desires. As we mourned our unmet expectation to have more children, a new framework was taking hold. It was a framework of being, "a father to the fatherless," and, "to look after orphans and widows in their distress," like it says in Psalms and James. We are excited to grow our family through adoption because it allows us to take a child from hopelessness, and provide them hope and love. This should sound like a familiar story, because it is a reflection of the gospel. Like it says in Galatians, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons." In Romans, it even says we believers have received a "Spirit of adoption." Just as we have been adopted from a dire outlook, we also have the opportunity to reflect God&'s love through adoption of a child. As we continue this process, we ask you to consider coming alongside us and being part of our adoption story. Whether through prayer, friendship, or financial support, we are honored for your consideration. Thank you, Eric, Tammy and Jack
