We are Brad, Jenny, Brody (2 yrs), and Brecken (1 yr) Lotz, and we are what some might call adoptaholics. We adopted Brody from Kentucky when he was an infant and are in the process of adopting another Little Lotz from DR Congo in Africa. In September, we accepted a referral for twins (boy and girl), but they died tragically due to a major outbreak of dysentery in their orphanage. We have recently accepted a referral for a little girl in DRC who is estimated to be about 3 months old, but her true age is unknown, as she was found in the grass near the capital city. We cannot wait to get her home, but we need as much help as we can get in order to do that. We still need to raise about $20,000 for this adoption. We have seen both the purest of joys and the deepest of heartache in our experiences with adoption, but we know that any trials we face in the journey make the final result even sweeter.
