Exciting Update!
On May 27, our Consultant, Courtney called us with the best news we have heard in a LONG TIME! We were MATCHED!! We are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, and can't wait for the end of August!
We'd like to ask you to join us in praying for the expectant mom. Pray that she would be safe and well, pray that she would be loved and cared for well, and pray that she would be comforted as she walks through the next few months, and beyond. We are so humbled that she chose us and have so much respect for her.
Now that we are matched and have signed a financial contract with an agency, we are a more firm on how much we still have left to raise. We are setting a goal of $5,000 to close out our fundraising and bring our baby home!

Our Story
We started trying to have a baby in the summer of 2016, and after a year decided to go see a doctor. That led to tests, medications, and a surgical procedure for Sara. Since then, we've seen three separate specialists, tried many other medications and procedures, but to no avail. During this time, God started to draw Sara's heart towards adoption through podcasts that she was listening to. We both knew that we wanted to adopt eventually, but we had no idea how God was orchestrating our lives to bring us to this point for our first child. We can truly say that adoption does not feel like a "plan B" for us. This is God's plan for our family and we are ecstatic to be walking in it. We see adoption as one of the clearest human pictures of the gospel, and we are excited to be a part of that!
How can you help?
Adoption is a very expensive process, and domestic adoption fees can easily reach well over $40k. This is very intimidating, but we are trusting God to provide as we seek to follow His leading to grow our family. We are asking you to prayerfully consider partnering with us in two main ways.
PRAY! We really need your prayers. The adoption process is daunting and we are learning so much! Pray that God would continue to prepare us to be parents, and that He would equip us to love and serve our child's birth family well.
Give! Would you prayerfully consider giving generously to help fund our adoption? We have been blown away at how God has been providing for us financially throughout this process. Between this site, personal checks, Venmo, cash, etc we have raised approximately $26,000! This puts us $19,000 short of our goal. Before we can be matched, we have to be able to pay the agency fee which is normally between $40,000 - $50,000. Also, depending on what state we get matched in, we will have airfare, hotel, food, travel expenses at the time we go to bring our baby home. We are grateful for gifts of any amount and so far have received gifts ranging from $3 - $3,000. Would you consider giving?

Choose a tag number 1-200 (we have them hanging up in our home and will update daily). Scroll down to make sure the tag you would like to purchase is still available. We would love for you to choose a number that is special to you or means something to your family!
Donate the amount on your tag (or more if you would like!) Ex. If you choose tag 92, you would donate $92.00.
We will remove the tag from the wall and write your name on the back of that tag. We will put these tags in a special jar or box to keep in the nursery. When our child grows up, they will have a physical representation of all of the people that supported their adoption!
The site you're donating through (Adopt Together) will send our adoption agency a final check to cover some of the costs. We won't ever touch your money personally.
You receive a tax write-off for your donation.
