We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
We have been working through this process for over 4 years now. We started in California with the foster care system, and then moved once discharged from the military. This move took us to Illinois, and we were forced to start over. We wanted to get settled back in prior to restarting the process. We have gotten to that point now and look forward to any assistance we may receive. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.
