Julie Theis

is adopting a child from United States of America

Hi our dearest and beloved friends and family!!!

We have some big news! We are adopting a baby!!!!!!

We are beyond excited, and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new little bundle of JOY into our family. We completely realize that the concept of fundraising for a baby may seem weird or unfamiliar to you…but we also realize that it may surprise you to hear that a domestic adoption can easily cost up to $35,000 or more.

After 10 years of infertility heartbreak, and over $30,000 spent on unsuccessful fertility treatments, another $35,000 for adoption fees feels like an overwhelming amount of money for us. We are well aware that God could give us another incredible, unbelievable, biological surprise…but right now, we feel like He is leading us towards adoption- and we can't WAIT to meet the next little Theis baby!!!!!!!

We are completely content with what we have and who we have in our lives to love. But we feel like the Lord has MORE for us to do…MORE children for us to love.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. If you are reading this right now, you mean the world to us, and we care deeply about our children knowing you and knowing the impact you've had on our lives…

We love you, and are so thankful to call you the ones who love us.

-Julie, Brodie, Poppy (and Paco, of course :)
