Dear Friend, Thank you for following your heart, your faith, or your simple curiosity to our profile. About five years ago we began to believe that our role for the next generation was not about having our own physical children, but it was about the good that could be done by loving those children without families. Then two years ago, our own miracle occurred and we had our son James. Although he is an amazing and wonderful gift from God, his arrival did not change our hearts towards adoption. About that time we had a dream (a literal dream) about what our children would look like… Recently, job setbacks, persistent health challenges, and taking care of a high energy little James have made us feel truly overwhelmed. Failures and burdens seemed like mountains. We honestly didn't feel like we deserved the right to have another one of God's precious ones. Then after only filling out just the pre-screening checklist (we hadn't even filled out the main application), our agency called and told us, "we have a child for you." We were absolutely blown away by God's love. Then we received pictures of Jian Qi from the adoption agency, and we recognized him: this was our son from the dream!! We are like you in that we believe that there is a purpose for every one of God's children. We believe it so strongly that we are willing to restitch the fabric, the very DNA of our family in order to make ourselves and our hearts available to an amazing little boy who will change the world. We are usual people trying to accomplish an unusually gigantic task. Adopting overseas is always costly, and China is exceptionally expensive. As such, we are in absolute necessity of extraordinary people like you.
