Love is what makes a family.

Wanted, Chosen, Loved, Adopted

Families don't have to match when their hearts do.

"Father to the Fatherless, defender of widows- this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy." Psalm 68:5-6

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18

"He counts the stars and knows them all by name." Psalm 147:4 The same God who made these stars knows your name, your story and your heart.

These words all resonate with me. God has adopted us. He wanted, chose, and loved us. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and are ready to pour that out through adoption. We are beyond excited and can't believe that somewhere out there, across the ocean, God has a special little girl waiting for us.

Please join us in prayer that God will keep her safe and healthy; that she will grow and be full and loved. That He will give us guidance and patience and peace as we worked hard to get to her and bring her home. We love this precious life already.

We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome this beautiful child into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.

We are the Adams Family.

Derek is a firefighter with super dad skills and a servants heart. He loves his family well every day.

Kathryn is a stay at home mom with a knack for finding bargains, starting new ideas and projects, and keeping the kids alive.

Logan is a 2nd grader with a servants heart like his daddy. He loves to build and read.

Kellan is a kindergartener with a sensitive heart and a big imagination. He is friendly and loves to play games and build puzzles.

Harrison is our little guy with big personality and lots of affection. He likes food and riding his scooter.

The boys are passionate about bringing their sister home and are telling everyone, everywhere about it.
