Nate Johnson

is adopting a child from Liberia

We are Nate and Erika, and we adopted our son from Uganda in 2011. He is a great blessing to our family and we can not imagine life without him. Only two months after our son came home, we welcomed our biological daughter into the world and became a family of 4. In May of 2013 we learned of a baby girl who was born missing all four of her limbs and needed a family to call her own. We decided that the only thing this girl was really missing was a mommy and daddy, and we felt our family wasn&’t complete without her in it! We are very excited to meet Adeline and see what God has in store for our family. Update 1: We are getting closer to bringing sweet girl home! We have sent off our Dossier to our agency and have our immigration approval. Now we are just waiting for the approval from Adeline&’s country to adopt her and we can travel for our VISA! Travel expenses are the next thing on the list, along with our final agency costs. Update 2: Our agency costs are paid! Thank you everyone who has helped. All that is left is travel expenses. Update 3: We are over the big hurdles in country, but with the Ebola crisis in Liberia, our adoption has been moving very slowly over the last few months. We finally received our adoption decree and are just waiting for our VISA. Praise the Lord! Now we are just waiting to be able to travel. Thank you everyone who has helped us along the way, we can not wait to have sweet Adeline in our arms forever. Please follow along with us at http://placeofmercy.blogspot.com/
