Kari Elder

is adopting a child from United States of America

Have you ever Been so in awe of God’s work in your life that it brings you to tears? That’s the season God has us in currently. We’re Ryan and Kari Elder, best friend husband and wife, pizza connoisseurs, masters of witty comebacks, hiking fans, and most importantly, followers of Jesus.

We’ve been married four and a half years, and have a passionate desire to expand God’s kingdom by raising up tiny disciples for His glory. What we thought was just a natural, guaranteed “next step” of life in parenthood, has actually lead to one of the most redeeming and sanctifying journeys of our lives. After over three years of trying to conceive, the Lord has called us to domestic, infant adoption.

This is a time filled with unknowns and lots of questions, but it is also filled with opportunities for the Lord to display His power and glory- and that’s what we’re here for! We’re ready for God to show up and move in ways we never imagined possible! Baby Elder is out there! Will you pray with us for Christ to be glorified through every step of our adoption journey?

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. Are you ready to witness miracles? We are!
