One year ago we began our third adoption journey, this time to the D.R. Congo to adopt two little girls. Unfortunately, when dysentery struck our orphanage our 12 month old daughter passed away. Then shortly thereafter Congo stopped issuing exit visas. As we saw the doors closing for us to D.R. Congo God began opening the doors to another route we never thought we would take, domestic infant adoption. We always thought there were many parents wanting to adopt infants in America, so we went where we thought the need was. Never did we realize that little African American babies were in great need of families right here in America. With a family from all over the world, America, Canada, Ethiopia, and Ukraine, race and nationality are of no concern to us. They are all God&'s children. With 4 kids in the home, this will actually be our first time having a newborn infant and we are all very excited to see how God is going to lead us. We are looking forward to adding a new little one or two into our home and thank you for being apart of building our family.
