Dear Friends and family, As many of you already know we hosted a sweet boy,Trey, this Summer for 6 weeks from China. We felt like this was a mission for our family to love and advocate for him to find a forever home. We love adoption and we have a heart for the fatherless. Since our family was built on adoption we know the meaning this can have on the child, sibling, and parents. We DID NOT feel like we were called to adopt again so we felt this amazing hosting program was perfect for us. We could have a great time, love on this sweet boy, pray over him, take him to church, and then advocate like crazy for him to find a home. WELL,we did all that and I think God just laughed and thought…when are you going to let me have control. So after 6 weeks of doing all the things we said we would do, we finally LET GO and LET GOD!!! We started feeling like the family we had been praying for was going to be our family. Then the day came when we had to take him back to the airport, it was NOT just a sweet boy we were dropping off but our SON. So, look out world Trey is coming home.
