When we shared our adoption plans with a friend, his reaction was, "Share the wealth, I always say." It put a smile on our faces for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that this process hasn&'t made us feel wealthy! It was a wonderful reminder of the wealth we have, though. God has blessed us with each other & our three year old. He ha™s blessed us & put us in a situation to be a blessing to another child, we pray. Of course, it made us smile for another reason. We know that this child is not the only one on the receiving end. One of our most earnest prayers over the last few years has been to have a sibling for our little girl. We pray for another child to expand and enrich our own family. This child is sharing great wealth with us! We have decided to adopt from the Democratic Republic of Congo. As of this writing, we have accepted the referral of a baby boy in DRC, and are anxiously awaiting the chance to bring him home! Thank you for visiting!
