In the spring of 2012, we were in the process of bringing home our second adopted daughter from China. When, we saw Patrick, our boy. Immediately, we set about the process to bring him home along with our daughter. Then, a single person, whose approval we absolutely had to have in order to accomplish this goal, refused the simultaneous adoption. The following weeks were glorious and gut-wrenching. Our newest daughter blossomed in the love of her family. Yet, despite the joy in our hearts, the sadness for what could have been with our son, remained. Then, we got an e-mail that changed our lives! We were informed that not only was our boy alive, he was available for us to adopt! However, he DESPERATELY needs heart surgery. Consequently, this adoption has been expedited due to Patrick&'s severe medical condition. If you cannot donate, we would covet your prayers and any efforts you can make to share Patrick&'s story with the world. Our adoption story can be followed on our blog at http://waitingformaisy.blogspot.com
