    Baby Eloise is here!

    It started like any other Monday..
    We dropped off Ada at Kindergarten and at 8:30 am got a phone call that a birth Mom was due in about a month and was interested in meeting us and might we have time today to meet. Our response was "OF COURSE!" and the wait for her call began. We had gotten really good at distracting ourselves, so Allison took herself to a plant store.
    A few hours later we got the call that Mom was delivering immediately and "it was always us, get here!"
    We packed our bags, picked up Ada, coordinated with the incredible grandparents an sat in traffic for 11 hours.
    After a week long stay in the NICU, we were home and have since been settling in.
    This page was started to provide folks an avenue to support us in lieu of physical gifts. Baby Eloise has everything she could ever want or need, and we feel showered with love. Any financial contribution will go towards legal expenses to finalize our adoption in a few months.
