Brandon and Laura Allshouse

are adopting a child from United States of America

There are many ways to grow a family. We’ve chosen adoption to grow ours. For the last few years this decision has been guiding all of our other major decisions: where to buy a house and what jobs to take, just to name a few. We’ve known for some time that we wanted to adopt, but took a few years to really research everything from costs, to agencies, to different types of adoptions to make sure we would make the decision that would be the best for us and for our future child. This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly.

We are now finally into the process, starting paperwork, home studies, and the biggest: trying to plan financially.

There are many costs associated with adoption and many things adoptive parents must go through that get expensive very quick. And that’s not even factoring in the normal costs of adding a new member to your family.

This fundraiser is primarily to aid in costs concerning the agency fees. We have chosen to work with American Adoptions, which is a wonderful agency that not only helps the adoptive parents through every step, but also take into consideration the birth mother, her circumstances, and her needs.

We appreciate any amount given to help us in this process.

Thank you,

Brandon & Laura
