The Trevino Family is growing!
Three weeks ago we received a message from a dear friend who now happens to be our social worker. After asking the question, "if we have 5 kids living in our home, do we qualify for adoption in China?" Our friend then sent us back a message that will change our lives forever, "Yes, you qualify…I received 13 files last night of children who are needing a family, would you guys pray about THIS ONE?" We didn't see 13 faces, we saw ONE. We knew in that moment Jesus was saying YES to something, to SOMEONE, that was in His heart and now is becoming part of ours. That someone is Ethan Jona. We are blessed to share with you all, our friends and family, that we are adopting a beautiful Chinese boy, Ethan, into our home and hearts.
We are officially matched with Ethan, and are working hard to finalize the tons of paperwork necessary to see the process through. Our hope and prayer is that Ethan will be home with us by the end of this next summer 2018. This is total leap of faith on our part, but to us he is worth jumping for!
