Dan & Barbara Johnson

are adopting a child from Congo

We have FUN & EXCITING news!

The Johnson Family is growing to a party of 7! We are adopting once again from the Republic of Congo. This time a little girl is joining our family!

Right now Florence lives in The Republic of Congo (not to be confused with its neighbor, The Democratic Republic of Congo). We were introduced to the ministry of Mwana Villages for the adoption of our son, Raphaël. Mwana Villages is a holistic ministry serving orphaned and vulnerable children and families, seeking to reunify children with their families whenever possible. Florence is also a child that took refuge at Mwana Villages.

We are thrilled and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome another beautiful child into our lives. Henry (age 12), Lyla (age 11), Eli (age 8), and Raphaël (age 7) are delighted and excited alongside us as we work to bring Florence home. As part of our adoption process, we have started this fundraiser to help us raise the funds needed. We used all of our adoption savings and the donations to this site already to cover the expenses to bring Raphaël home.

We have US lawyer fees, Congolese lawyer fees, adoption agency fees, immigration visa fees, and final travel expenses to bring Florence home from Congo. We need to raise $26,200.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our daughter as she grows up. We are shouting love and worth and joy over her. Please join us!
