are adopting a child from Colombia

_ …..to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 _

We have BIG news!

We are adopting a 6 year old girl (N.L.)!!!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a precious little girl into our home. N.L. currently resides at an orphanage in South America. This sweet girl wants the stability, safety, and belonging of a family. During a web chat with N.L. she held our family photo album and said, “God found me a family” - “please come pronto”. We invite you to be part of N.L.’s adoption story. Above all, by praying for our daughter. That she will have the protection of God over her life. If you would like to be part of this amazing journey financially, your gift here goes straight towards our adoption fees. This is our second adoption and first time doing any type of fundraising. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more (agency expenses, government documentation, country fees, and education). This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help with the fees along with a 3 week stay in Colombia to finalize everything and bring N.L. home!

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around N.L. as she grows up. We thank you for the thoughts and prayers over our family, the next few steps, and travels. Many blessings back to you!

With Love and Gratitude,

Scott, Laura, Evan, & N.L.
