We have BIG news!
We just adopted twins!
The process happened pretty quickly, but we were recently matched with a birth mom who had boy/girl twins and so it looks like we will land at 8 kids instead of 7! We welcomed Emmie Marie and Elijah Benjamin (born 1/22) into our family on 1/23 (Emily's birthday). God has blessed us by providing money to enter the adoption process, but for various reasons the expenses with this adoption have been quite a bit more than we were hoping. As some of you know, adoption expenses can be in excess of $50,000.
Some of you have asked how you can help and called me out on not doing something like this…..so we made this profile in case you want to make a tax-deductible donation to help cover some of the costs to ease the financial burden (and decrease the line of credit that we tapped to finalize the adoption :).
