I have some life changing news! I mean, I still think I need to pinch myself. So, here it is … I am ADOPTING! I am currently on a waitlist and choosing to become a Mama through the gift of adoption. As you may already know, I have always wanted to become a Mom and adoption has always been on my heart. There is no better time than now.
The journey has taken almost two years so far and I am blessed to be waiting domestically and internationally through the Marshall Islands.
I am doing everything I can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful baby into my home. As part of my adoption process, I have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $42,000 or more. This is why I have set a goal of $32,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
I hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community I hope to build around my child as he/she grows up.
In the meantime, please keep me, my future baby, and birth mom and family in your thoughts and in your prayers. Looking forward to another stage of life that I am excited, terrified, as ready as I will ever be, and open to!
