Adoption has always been something heavy on our hearts. My youngest two sisters are adopted and I have always felt that some day I would be able to adopt as well. A few months after getting married we were told it would be hard-not impossible-but hard to get pregnant. I was devastated. So many emotions going through your head at once. Through prayer, an encouraging family, and a supportive husband I have finally realized that I still CAN be a mother. About a year or so ago we really started thinking, and praying about the idea of adoption.

This year I decided to stop planning so much and just be still and let God take control. One phone call later and things are falling into place…FAST. In a matter of days our life has been turned upside down…for the better. We are about to be parents to a sweet little baby.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of [15,000] to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
