As many people know, we are adopting a baby. After years of heart breaking infertility struggles we made the chose to begin the adoption process after eight miscarriages and being told IVF may never work for us. We feel so fortunate to have the two beautiful children we have, but our family doesn’t yet feel complete. Adoption had been on our hearts for a while, and we quickly learned that the whole process was going to be a long and difficult road. The biggest hurdle for most adopting families is the financial burden, and we are no exception. The way our agency works is that when we match and get placed they require 2 large sums of money. Since the vast majority of adoptions they are seeing right now are last minute placements, we could need to pay those large sums at the drop of the hat. We have been working diligently to save and secure those funds, but want to make sure we have everything is ready to go in case the right situation comes our way sooner than later. This is why we are reaching out to our community for help. We appreciate any and all help that anyone can give.
