We have BIG news!
**We are adopting a Samarah Debra-Ann in 2025! Baby Girl was born 1/22/2022 and she’s been with us ever since! 💕
We know! there’s nothing too big for the God we serve! We’re so thankful for everyone who has given to bring baby home so far and to all who will in the future!
Update Our adoption case is almost done and we are beyond excited!
Our attorney has completed their portion of paperwork and searching for anyone birth mom had mentioned could potentially be the birth father. They are ready to file with the courts! Our home study is scheduled for April 2nd! Then the social worker will just need to write it up! We haven’t worked with the guardian at Litem just yet, but our attorney will pull her in as soon as it’s time.
Our attorney is paid, but guardian at Litem will cost approximately $750. For the adoption agency, cost has increased some since we originally started our adoption process and so we are believing God will supply the remaining of our need for it! We are approximately $1200 shy.
In total, We are about $2000 shy of finishing it!

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $30,000. This is why we have set our original goal of $13,000 to help ease the financial burden. We are working on gathering items to sell, and working extra hours on top of this amount, to make sure we’re set to bring this baby into our home!
As many of our family and friends are aware, we’ve been on a journey since we’ve been married in 2008, once we knew we wouldn’t be able to have children on our own. In 2019, we became certified as Foster Parents, while we lived in Oregon! It was quite the process, but we realized it was the right step for us!
Our first payment is due 14 days from today (9/1/21) to start our Home Study here in Wisconsin.
