Carolyn Garcia and I are about to embark on the greatest adventure of our lives together!
On December 2nd, we will fly to Colombia to meet two teen brothers (ages 13 & 14) who have never been apart, and who risk being separated when the older one turns 15 in June. They desire a forever family, and have never been blessed to have one. We hope to adopt them and have them join our home in June 2018.
God has been channeling us to this moment over the past five years as we have sponsored and worked with needy kids in Ethiopia, Guatemala, and at home. Our love of teens made our hearts break when we heard the story of these two boys who have already been separated from their older sister, and who have been in the "system" since they were 3 and 4 respectively.
We have been approved to pursue this adoption, and it has caused us to re-evaluate all facets of our lives. We were completely unprepared for the paperwork and expense of international family adoption! God has opened the door wide and He will provide, and we are walking through in faith towards this life-changing event!

We are trying to raise money to cover our adoption agency fees, our home study and mandated follow-up visits, our medical evaluations for the boys, and our travel and in-country expenses when we go for three or more weeks in June to bring them home.
