We have been married for close to six years, but have been together for 15 years. We started dating in high school and although we immediately knew we were destined to get married, we wanted to focus on our academics because education is so important to us. After graduating from college we were married and have been incredibly happy with our marriage! As individuals and as a couple we have felt a strong calling and desire to become parents, thus there was never a question that we would start a family together. However, shortly after getting married we were advised of the serious risks that pregnancy would pose as Debbi has an illness. Since we have a great love for all children, we knew we wanted to start our family through adoption. We have been going through the process for some time and we very recently were blessed to bring our baby home.
