We’ve got news! We’ve been polishing our dad jokes! We are officially in the process of adopting!

We’re getting married this October and can’t wait to start building our family. While we’ve taught thousands of kids in our classrooms over the years, and loved every one of them, we’re excited to share our love, for the first time, with a child of our own.

We’ve learned that it not only takes a lot of love to adopt a child, but also takes a lot of money! We’ve spent our lives advocating for others, but this time we are asking for your help.

Dear, Baby Harley-Emerson,
We are looking forward to showing you just how many people are completely in love with you and are eagerly awaiting your arrival. We hope that we will meet you soon, but we know that the wait, no matter how short or long, will be well worth it. We look forward to a lifetime of love, laughter…and Broadway musicals!
