We met in kindergarten, were high school sweethearts, and will be married 8 years in September. We have a dog, a cat, a little house, and lots of love! Jason is a police officer and I am an interior designer. We spent the first few years of our marriage getting settled in these careers and our home but soon decided that we were ready to start a family. We struggled with infertility for a number of years, jumped through all of the medical hoops, but never really got an answer to the reason for our struggle. After years of this and uncertainty about pursuing the adoption process, we recently felt like the Lord was leading us to adopt. Well, actually, he created such a passion for it within us that it scared us! We know that the cost of adoption can be daunting but we&'re also trusting that the Lord will provide as he sees fit. We know now that this is his perfect plan for our lives. And even though we don&'t know who baby Roebke is yet, this child is still growing in our hearts!
