Hi Friends! We are so excited to share our news with you, and touched that so many of you reached to ask if you could help! In response, we created this fundraising page through an adoption-specific platform that is an accredited 501c. (We encourage you to watch the video on the home page by clicking the "Adopt Together" logo above) At this time we are half way through the adoption process and the only timeline contingency is preparing all agency funds in full before our profile can be shown to prospective parents. If you feel adoption is something you want to be a part of, we humbly and thankfully accept all donations and prayers. A little about how we got here- Adoption is something that was placed on our hearts many years ago. As we began discussions as to how we wanted to start a family, adoption kept coming to our hearts and minds. There are so many precious children in this world who need a loving home- and we feel honored to love whichever child God brings us. After a lot of prayer and discussion, we decided to pursue open domestic adoption because it gives us an opportunity to start our family with a baby in need but also to love the birth parents and hopefully focus on a relationship with them as well. This relationship can look many different ways ranging from consistent holiday visits to annual supervised visits to the occasional email or snail mail. We're excited to meet our baby and prayerful as we determine what this open relationship will look like. To date, we have covered all fees leading up to the final home study. We need 20,000 to complete the process. We are trusting God's timing, but eager to love on our little. We plan to be creative and frugal these next few months (or years) until we're able to bring baby Seps home, but we also welcome others who want to support adoption in this way.
