My story has been filled with both pain and joy…I am a widow of a little over three years now. In 2011, during my first adoption, my loving husband of almost 15 years, and father to my children, passed away. My heart was broken… but through much prayer, faith, tears and determination, I found the strength to continue on with the adoption. Then in May of 2012, I received the devastating news that the child I was to adopt in China was terminally ill, and she passed away the end of that month. Again, I had to find the courage and strength to continue….and I did! In September of 2012, I traveled to China with my two youngest children, at the time, they were 12 and 10, and completed the adoption of a special needs six year old little girl. After seeing these children first hand in the orphanage, and also the pain that my daughter lived through all those years spent in her orphanage, I knew my heart was big enough to try and go back and adopt one more child! After many prayers, I finally decided to submit my letter of intent for a little boy in an orphanage in Guangxi China, with special needs and abandoned at one month old. I am so excited to say that I was approved, and I am now waiting for my Letter of Acceptance (LOA)! My children and I are very excited to be able to give one more orphan a family, and the love that each and every child deserves. Not everyone can adopt a child, but everyone can help a child in their own way. If you feel led to help me, please consider making a donation towards the costs of my adoption of Landon! God Bless and Thank you!
