We have adopted a girl - beautiful Bailee Dawn! Bailee was born on April 11th. We are unbelievably excited to welcome our new baby girl to our wonderful family and her new home.
We are beyond thrilled to have this amazing person in our lives and to be blessed with the opportunity provide to her our love. We are doing everything we can to welcome our little Bailee to the Powell family. We can't wait to watch her grow and progress, day by day!
The adoption process was quite challenging and time-consuming. It felt like a roller coaster of emotions as we navigated numerous applications and faced many difficult hurdles. But in the end, with the awesome support from family and friends we now have this incredible new life!
As part of this adoption adventure, we have started a crowdfunding campaign as a means to help ease the financial burden. Our adoption total cost was approximately $80,000, some of which was offset by insurance and some generous close friends and family. We have set a goal of $38,500 to help with the remaining portion.
Our goal is to actively involve you in Bailee's adoption process and help us build a solid and nurturing foundation for her as she grows and thrives in her exciting her life!
