My name is Vuka and I am very excited to share that I have finalized the adoption of Teddy on February 6, 2018. He is a sweet joyful little boy from Ethiopia and I couldn't be more thrilled. Teddy just turned 3-years old and has a twinkly smile and large soulful eyes. I have known that I wanted to adopt for a long time, but waited until I felt I was emotionally and financially ready. As a single mom, I anticipate that raising a son will be a wonderful, life-altering experience.
I went to visit Teddy in May 2017 and October 2017 and spent weeks getting to know him. It was the most incredible, amazing experience of my life. After receiving the court decree, Teddy was able to leave the orphanage on February 7 (my Dad's birthday). Needless to say, I cannot wait to bring Teddy all the way home, where we can create our own family, filled with love, adventure, and happiness. My dear friends and family have been more supportive than I could have ever even imagined. I hope you will also consider joining me in this exciting journey.
