_We are currently in the throws of the adoption process! That means we've already payed a lot of fees, but we still have a lot to go. Adoption is expensive, and we've been so grateful to our agency, social workers, and legal providers for their services that make it all possible.
The situation going forward looks like this: when an expectant mom considers us to parent her child, we'll have to pay the budget of the adoption in full. That means that our agency has estimated how much money it will take to cover this mom's unique needs, as well as social and legal services on both sides.
Already, we have been amazed at the generosity of our friends and family. We trust that our lives, this process, and our finances are absolutely in God's hands and we're excited to bring everyone in on the exciting start of this little life._
