We are so excited to share that we are growing our family through adoption! Let me tell you about us. Randy and I adopted our daughter Anya 4 years ago, and she has been the biggest blessing we could have ever asked for! We feel called to add another little bundle of joy to our family, and after going through infertility treatments, we feel strongly that adoption is the option for us. We are excited to be going on this journey again! It looks very different than it did last time, though. Our first adoption was designated, so we scrambled and rushed, and brought home our baby girl in just 3.5 short months. This time we were hoping for another word-of-mouth adoption miracle, but that was a lot to ask for. We have decided to go through Lifetime Adoptions, an adoption agency based in Florida, but one that works with birthparents and adoptive parents in all 50 states. We are on the waiting list now, with most adoptive parents being matched anywhere between 6-18 months. We shall see! We ask that you join in our journey through prayer, encouragement, and if you are willing and able, financially. Domestic (USA) adoption costs are typically between $30,000 - $40,000. We are doing everything in our power to put a dent in this. Anya has even given up her school yoga class so we can save for a little brother or sister (her initial reaction was that she wanted yoga, not a baby, but she came around and now has 2 imaginary baby brothers!).
